Electronic Arts announced that Kylian Mbappé will be the cover star for EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition, marking his return to the cover after four years. This marks the first time Mbappé has appeared as the face of the series since its rebranding to EA SPORTS FC. He will feature on both the console and PC versions, as well as on EA SPORTS FC Mobile.
Mbappé expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “It is a very special moment for me to be on the cover of an EA SPORTS FC game for the first time. It is a great honor to be part of this new era of collaboration with players who have left their mark in the series’ history. I can’t wait for everyone to experience FC 27.”
His selection as cover star is backed by a consistent record of on-field success. Since transferring to Real Madrid in 2024, he has won the top scorer title in both of his seasons in Spain. Additionally, Mbappé earned the Golden Boot award in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League, scoring 15 goals. His impressive performance during the summer wearing the national team jersey further solidified his status for the cover.
