Anthropic has launched a new feature named “Teach Claude a skill,” enabling users to record their screens and narrate tasks while they complete them. This functionality allows Claude to learn and store the recorded workflows for future reuse, addressing the challenge of repetitive prompting for tasks like reports, spreadsheets, and file organization. The feature is currently being rolled out to Claude Pro, Max, and Team subscribers through the Cowork interface in the Claude desktop app.

The update aims to enhance Claude’s efficiency by automating recurring tasks, streamlining user interactions, and minimizing the need for users to repeatedly instruct the AI on how to perform specific actions. Anthropic’s approach takes a step towards making AI interaction more intuitive and user-friendly.

Access to the “Teach Claude a skill” feature has started for eligible subscribers, reflecting Anthropic’s ongoing efforts to enhance user experience and improve task automation in their AI offerings.
