Anthropic has launched a set of connectors for its AI chatbot, Claude, enabling integration with popular creative software, including Adobe’s Creative Cloud apps, Affinity, Blender, Ableton, and Autodesk.

This initiative signals Anthropic’s push into the creative industry, following the recent introduction of Claude Design earlier this month. The new connectors allow Claude to access applications, retrieve data, and perform actions within connected services to facilitate creative tasks.

The Adobe connector enables Claude to utilize apps like Photoshop, Premiere, and Express for creating images, videos, and designs. The integration with Ableton allows Claude to answer questions sourced from the music software’s official documentation. Additionally, the connector with Blender provides a natural-language interface for the 3D modeling app’s Python API.

“Claude can’t replace taste or imagination, but it can open up new ways of working — faster ideation and the ability for creatives to take on larger-scale projects,” Anthropic stated. The company emphasized that AI can assist by managing repetitive tasks and reducing manual work in the creative process.

Alongside the launch of these connectors, Anthropic has become a Corporate Patron of the Blender Development Fund, supporting the ongoing development of open-source software. As part of this commitment, Anthropic will contribute at least €240,000 (approximately $281,000) annually to Blender. This funding will enable Blender to continue pursuing independent projects and focus on developing tools for artists and creators.
