ServiceNow has announced a multi-year partnership with AI research lab Anthropic, following a similar deal with OpenAI one week earlier.
The agreement, revealed on Wednesday, embeds Anthropic’s AI models into ServiceNow’s platform for both customers and its 29,000 employees. ServiceNow declined to disclose the partnership’s duration or financial terms.
Anthropic’s Claude model family will serve as the preferred AI models across ServiceNow’s AI-driven workflow products. Claude is now the default model for ServiceNow Build Agent, which enables developers to create agentic workflows and build apps.
The partnership also includes rolling out Claude to all ServiceNow employees. Additionally, Claude Code, Anthropic’s code-generation product, will be available to the company’s engineers.
“ServiceNow with Anthropic is turning intelligence into action through AI‑native workflows for the world’s largest enterprises,” said Bill McDermott, ServiceNow’s chairman and CEO, in a company press release. “Together, we are proving that deeply integrated platforms with an open ecosystem are how the future is built.”
This deal expands ServiceNow’s AI integrations, coming shortly after its partnership with OpenAI provided customers access to OpenAI’s models through ServiceNow products.
