Google has introduced PixelSnap, a magnetic accessory system for the new Pixel 10 series, mirroring Apple’s MagSafe which debuted with the iPhone 12 in 2020. PixelSnap enables users to attach accessories such as wireless chargers, stands, and grips to their Pixel 10 devices.
Google is releasing its own line of PixelSnap cases and compatible accessories. One notable accessory is the PixelSnap Ring Stand, a puck-like attachment that can be used as a stand.
All new Pixel devices are compatible with the Qi2 wireless standard. The Pixel 10 Pro XL supports 25W wireless charging, while the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Fold support 15W wireless charging.
The company is also launching a new PixelSnap charger, available with an optional stand. The charger can be used independently or with the stand for hands-free use and displaying home control widgets.
Pricing for the PixelSnap accessories is as follows: PixelSnap cases start at $49.99, the PixelSnap Ring Stand is priced at $29.99, the PixelSnap charger costs $39.99, and the PixelSnap charger with stand costs $69.99.
Google has stated that the Pixel 10 series is compatible with a range of accessories, including car mounts, chargers, and those from Made for Google partners, as well as certain MagSafe accessories.
