Amazon announced the rollout of its Adaptive Display feature for Fire TVs today. The accessibility function, first previewed in April, is now available for the Fire TV Stick HD.
The Adaptive Display setting allows users to resize text and UI elements on screen for improved readability while maintaining the proportional scaling of images and key art. This feature offers multiple sizing options, enabling users to customize their viewing experience.
Amazon indicated that Adaptive Display is a significant enhancement for the latest Fire TV model. This model also includes a more streamlined form factor and additional integrations with Alexa.
During CES 206, Amazon demonstrated a complete overhaul of the Fire TV user interface, which was subsequently launched in February. The new Adaptive Display feature is designed to help viewers fully utilize the revamped Fire TV experience.
