With this article, you can learn how to start Azure free trial. The Azure free account will give you some of the basics of the service, but you will still be able to use it to your benefit. If you start paying Microsoft and upgrade your membership to pro, there are more features. The free account is just for you if you don’t need all of the features.

Using Azure will give you access to the world of cloud computing, and it is crucial for some businesses. It also offers free services that are mainly useful for small and medium-sized businesses, but you will need to create an Azure free account to start using it. This guide will show you how to use the service for free!

How to start an Azure free account?

Starting an Azure free account is very easy, especially if you are familiar with the internet in general. It is not different from how you sign up for social media platforms, but there may be some tricky parts to it. Here are the steps that you should follow:

  1. First things first, go to the Azure website.
  2. On the top right corner, you will see the Free Azure Account button; click on it.
  3. Click on the Start Free button in the middle of the page.
  4. Sign in to your Microsoft account. (You need to have a Microsoft account for further steps. Create an account if you don’t already have one)
  5. Put your Country and Date of Birth information.
  6. Enter the verification code, which can be found in your email.
  7. On the signup page of Azure, put in all the needed information.
  8. Click on either Text Me or Call Me to verify your phone number, and enter the verification code that will be sent via your chosen method.
  9. Enter your payment details. Don’t worry; Microsoft will not charge you anything. If you are a student, you have to register with your student ID.
  10. After accepting the terms and conditions, hit the sign-up button.
  11. Congratulations, you have successfully created an Azure free account!

What do I get after signing up?

With an Azure free account, you are given a $200 credit to use during the first 30 days of signing up. Additionally, you receive free monthly amounts from two sets of services. There are more than 40 other services that are always free and popular services that are free for a 12-month period. You can take advantage of a brief promotion that is free for 12 months to try out premium Azure services without having to pay. With this deal, you may use any of the more than 40 Azure services for a full year without paying a dime while also getting $200* off your initial bill.

To do so, firstly you need to log in to your Azure account portal. You will see a button that says Cancel subscriptions. After clicking that, confirm that you want to cancel your subscription, and done, very easy.

Microsoft Azure offers some of the most popular services in its market. With the Azure free account deal, you will be able to access Azure Disk Storage, Azure SQL Database, VPN Gateway, Container Registry, and more. Moreover, it also connects directly to the SpaceX Starlink satellites, which are seen as the future of the internet in a sense. It looks like a one-in-a-lifetime offer from Microsoft to make its services known in the market. The bast part is that it is completely free and the company gives you $200 to spend to use services.
