According to the tests of DxOMark, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has the best smartphone display compared to other high-end models of other manufacturers. It is the flagship model of Samsung’s smartphone catalog if we leave aside the special group of foldables.

We are not surprised because Samsung is the world’s leading company when it comes to displays. Their production capacity is incomparable to any other.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G’s display is really impressive and its main specs are:

  • Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology
  • 6.8-inch Infinity-O display
  • QHD+ native resolution for 1440 x 3200 pixels
  • 20:9 aspect ratio
  • Density: 515 dots per inch
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • Display to body ratio: 89.8%
  • Dimensions: 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm
  • Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection

DxOMark is a specialized site that performs one of the most comprehensive display tests in the industry and the analysis concludes that that of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the best display of a current smartphone, topping the medium score with 91 points to surpass another Samsung device, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that until now was at the top of the list.

After analyzing the main evaluable aspects of a smartphone display, DxOMark offers the following main conclusions:

  • The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G achieves 74 points in the readability section, topping the tests alongside the TCL 10 Pro.
  • The brightness and contrast values (30000 lux) are impressive, leading the industry.
  • The brightness and contrast values (0 lux) stand out less, although they remain among the best.

  • Indoors, its brightness makes most of the content easy to read. That said, details in darker areas are sometimes difficult to see.
  • Like all smartphones, the S21 Ultra loses a bit of luminance at a 45-degree angle, but its overall brightness helps it remain very readable.
  • In color, the S21 achieves a score of 82 points but remains behind the OnePlus 8 Pro with 88.
  • Video is another point where the smartphone excels and tops any previous review with 90 points.
