Tencent Cloud overhauls OpenClaw dispute sponsors project

Tencent Cloud and Tencent AI have become sponsors of the OpenClaw community, according to OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger.

The sponsorship, reported by TechNode, follows a prior dispute between the entities regarding data scraping. This new agreement indicates a resolution to that conflict. Tencent Cloud plans to provide lightweight application servers to facilitate one-click deployment of OpenClaw, aiming to reduce technical hurdles for users.

Additionally, the company has initiated a free installation program in 17 Chinese cities. Tencent Cloud also offers enterprise-grade security sandbox and permission management solutions.
