Motorola unveiled the Razr Fold, its first book-style foldable, at MWC 2026. The device features an 8.1-inch internal display with a peak brightness of 6,200 nits and an external screen reaching 6,000 nits. Both screens exceed the brightness of competitors such as the Pixel 10 Fold Pro, which peaks at 3,000 nits.

The Razr Fold aims to set new performance standards in the growing foldable market. The device utilizes a silicon-carbon 6,000mAh battery, a capacity significantly larger than rivals. It supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, yet measures 4.6mm thin when open and 9.9mm when closed.

The main 2K LTPO display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, while the external screen offers a 1,080p resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Both panels support Dolby Vision. Under the hood, the Razr Fold runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and includes a liquid-cooling system.

The camera system comprises five sensors: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom. It also includes a 32MP internal selfie camera and a 20MP external selfie camera. Motorola claims the device holds the highest DXOMARK camera score among foldables.

Motorola supports the device with its new Pen Ultra stylus. The company has not announced pricing or availability, but the Razr Fold is expected to launch in North America in the coming months.
