Half a million Call of Duty players banned. To combat cheating and abusive behavior in the game, 500,000 Call of Duty accounts have been banned.

Activision, the game’s creator, has for the first time ever provided statistics on the development of its Ricochet anti-cheat system.

The filtration system was introduced in 2021

In 2021, the filtering system was implemented in an effort to “clean” the game’s worldwide database and get rid of negative players.

As Warzone 2 is due to premiere later this year, many gamers worry that if stronger regulations aren’t put in place, the toxicity and regular hacking will also destroy their experience.

According to the figures, 500,000 people have been banned as of now. Activision also announced that 300,000 gamers were need to change their usernames since combating toxicity calls for a “24/7 continual effort.”

CharlieIntel, a Twitter user, also noted that Activision has introduced a new code of conduct for Call of Duty. It must be read by everyone who wants to participate in the Modern Warfare 2 beta.

The revised code of conduct’s three guiding principles are listed on the game’s website as follows:

  • Treat everyone with respect
  • Compete with integrity
  • Stay vigilant

In-game text-based chat and name creation moderation now support a total of 14 languages thanks to further language additions made since the last community update.

Despite the fact that Warzone 2 is soon to be released, little is known about it outside the fact that it will coexist alongside the present Warzone.

Call of Duty Warzone 2 release date

As one of the top online multiplayer first-person shooter games available, Call of Duty Warzone has spent a lot of time in the spotlight. Despite the numerous problems the game from Raven Software has seen since its release in 2020 and boasting some of the best gunplay of any shooter on the market, people have continued to swarm to it.

While the majority of the top battle royale games have altered maps, weapons, and essential gameplay components over time, Warzone has typically taken a more cautious tack. However, there are now rumors and claims claiming that Raven Software is preparing an entirely new Warzone sequel in addition to a major overhaul of the game over the coming years.

When will Warzone 2 release? Game of War The rumored release date for Warzone 2 is November 16, 2022. This was taken from an Activision internal paper that was leaked.

The PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will all support Call of Duty Warzone 2. For the first time in a long time, PC users will be able to purchase the game through Steam or Battlenet.

Call of Duty Warzone 2 reset

The long-rumored fact has now been confirmed: Warzone 2 will wipe out all of your previous battle royale progress.

This implies that after Warzone 2 is released, you won’t be able to use any of the firearms, skins, or stats from the original game and will have to start over.

Warzone 2 will be an improvement over its predecessor and share Modern Warfare 2’s engine, mechanics, and features. The history of dense post-launch content and seasonal drops will continue even though there won’t be any shared weapons or content from the first Warzone.

Don’t forget to check out the CoD Modern Warfare 2 beta rewards and win free goodies.
