If you don’t know how to turn off the autocorrect on WhatsApp, we are going to help you out. WhatsApp is currently the most used messaging application worldwide and it is constantly growing as a service.

WhatsApp is a messaging platform that offers several features to facilitate the use of the application.

Autocorrect is one of them. This tool helps users when typing. It predicts words, corrects them, etc.

From that perspective, it is quite useful and perhaps even necessary for some users, but sometimes it can become a bit annoying.

Sometimes the autocorrect feature places words that we do not want to use and that is why some users prefer to disable on WhatsApp.

If you have decided to disable this feature you must follow these steps:

How to delete messages on WhatsApp?

If you sent a message by mistake and want to delete it follow these steps:

This feature allows you to delete specific messages you’ve sent in an individual or group chat. This is useful if you sent a message to the wrong chat or if the message you sent has an error.

Messages that are successfully deleted for everyone will be replaced with this text: “This message was deleted.”

In order to delete messages for everyone, follow these steps:

  • Open WhatsApp and go to the chat with the message you want to delete.
  • Press and hold the message. You can also select multiple messages and delete them at the same time.
  • Tap Delete > Delete for all.

Note: For messages to be successfully deleted for everyone, both you and the recipient must be using the latest version of WhatsApp.

Recipients using WhatsApp for iOS can keep the media files you sent them in their Photos, even after the message is deleted from the WhatsApp chat.

Recipients will be able to see the messages before they are deleted or if they are not successfully deleted.
