Elden Ring will launch for the Switch 2 on August 28 as Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which includes the main game along with the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This edition features new classes, weapons, armor, and horse customization options, enriching the gameplay for Switch users.
Players on other platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, will also be able to purchase the new classes, weapons, and horse customization options. However, the pricing for this additional content on those platforms has not yet been disclosed.
The total cost for the Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on Switch 2 remains unspecified, but an Amazon listing suggests a price of $80. This aligns with the pricing of a combo pack containing the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on other platforms, which also costs $80.
In addition to Elden Ring, FromSoftware is preparing to release a Switch 2 exclusive game titled The Duskbloods. This game is described as a spiritual successor to the 2015 title Bloodborne.
