Meta is developing AI agents for personal and business use, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. These agents aim to assist users in achieving diverse goals throughout their lives.
Zuckerberg stated that the agents will build upon the recently released Muse Spark model from Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL). The initiative focuses on creating both personal agents that cater to individual user needs and business agents designed to help entrepreneurs leverage Meta’s tools effectively.
“Our goal is not just to deliver Meta AI as an assistant, but to deliver agents that can understand your goals and then work day and night to help you achieve them,” Zuckerberg said. He explained that the personal agent will focus on aiding users in achieving their varied life goals, while the business agent will support companies in expanding their reach and improving customer service.
No specific timeline for the launch of these AI agents was mentioned. However, Zuckerberg emphasized the need for making these tools more accessible than existing options, like OpenClaw, which he described as offering “a very exciting glimpse” but being “pretty rough” to set up.
He highlighted a gap in the market where many current AI agents lack user-friendliness, citing that few are suitable for less tech-savvy individuals. “How do you make a version of that experience that is a lot more polished and dialed and easy, and that has all the infrastructure basically done for people already?” he questioned.
