Apple patches an actively exploited zero-day vulnerability

Apple released emergency updates for iPhone, iPad and Mac devices to fix a zero-day security flaw reported as under active attack.

Apple has shipped emergency security updates to address a zero-day vulnerability the company says has been exploited in the wild.

The patches span iPhone, iPad and Mac software, and Apple is urging users to update as soon as possible to reduce exposure to targeted attacks.

The fix is the latest in a series of rapid-response updates Apple has released as attackers increasingly chain vulnerabilities to compromise high-value targets.
