Today we explain How to find Return to Monkey Island trivia cards. Return to Monkey Island makes use of the rich history of the Monkey Island franchise by offering collectible trivia cards. You should be aware that these don’t function the same way as typical collectibles in other games, therefore you should learn how they are actually picked up, discovered, and answered. Continue reading to learn all the pertinent details.

How to find Return to Monkey Island trivia cards?

You must first find a home for your Trivia Cards before you can begin collecting them. Thankfully, discovering the trivia book practically occurs by accident. You’ll cross the docks near the Scumm Bar once you take control of Guybrush. The book is clearly displayed on a table as you enter. You will receive one free Trivia Card when you pick it up to begin your collection.

Trivia Cards will start to surface everywhere throughout the game once you obtain the book. The trouble is, even while they do spawn in certain places, they eventually respawn in the same places. See how two completely distinct trivia cards appear on the same screen, but in slightly different locations, in the screenshot above?

When you enter a new place, your best bet is to click the highlight button to ping each interactive object on the screen. Grab any card you see, and it will be refilled when you return to that specific screen.

Once you have a card, you can click on the book in your inventory to open it and then select an option to respond to a question. The whole Monkey Island series is covered in these quizzes, along with interesting tidbits about the game’s creators. There is nothing wrong with searching for the solution online if you don’t know it. You’ll forfeit the card if you answer the question incorrectly. Because there are 100 questions rather than 100 cards, they keep coming back endlessly.

You are presented with a random question from among those 100 options with each new one you pick up. Don’t worry if you get it wrong; as you pick up additional cards, it will ultimately repeat. As you properly answer more and more questions, you’ll unlock a number of in-game achievements.

History of The Monkey Island series

The 1990 video game Monkey Island introduced us to one another and led to the creation of five more. It would be appropriate to use the term “fun” to describe the first game in the series. With its setting, humorous dialogue and characters, and the mysteries it brings to life in this welcoming milieu, Monkey Island is a legend for fans of adventure games.

One year after the first game, The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge was released in 1991. One of the most popular games of the series, the production was interrupted for 6 years and The Curse of Monkey Island was put on sale in 1997. The Curse of Monkey Island, one of the best in the series, was followed by Escape From Monkey Island. This game, released in 2000, was far from the success of the first 3 games.

Tales of Monkey Island was published in 2009 and received great attention. The game now looked 3D. Special Editions were released for The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge in 2010. The productions with improved resolutions did not look bad in today’s systems. After 2010, the Monkey Island series fell into a serious silence. After a 12-year hiatus, the series finally got a new game: Return to Monkey Island.

The new game of the series is promising with first review scores. After the first 22 reviews from Metacritic, it has reached an average of 88 points. This makes Return to Monkey Island the 11th highest-rated game of 2022 on PC.
