In the Ultimate Team mode of FIFA 21, there are a lot of different cards from all kinds of players. Over the course of a year’s season, there is always the option to purchase players on the tradeoff market or you may be lucky enough to get the best players in the envelopes. Either way, you should know that there is a special signing, we refer to the Team of the Week; Also known as the TOTW.
What is TOTW in FIFA 21 and how it works?
The acronym TOTW refers to the Team of the Week, which is nothing more than the team of the week made up of the best players in the major leagues. These special cards are chosen by EA Sports itself every week according to the real-life performance of the players during the games played in the last seven days or rounds.

In other words, the cards chosen for the TOTW have nothing to do with the overall performance that the team members may have within the game.
The Team of the Week works as follows:
- The TOTW is made up of 11 players, who have been the best of the week.
- There are also substitute players and reserve players.
- The players selected in the TOTW have enhanced statistics, and their cards will have this “extra improvement” even when their presence in the TOTW ends (provided that you have acquired them, of course).
When will there be a new TOTW?
The Team of the Week is renewed every week, the date chosen for this is every calendar Wednesday.
