The arrival of PS5 is getting closer and closer and, of course, there is always new information about this new generation console, sometimes good and sometimes bad.

PS5 will not support 1440p resolution

In this case, unfortunately, we are reporting this information that will not exactly please many buyers of the new flagship of Sony, especially those in possession of a gaming monitor. According to the latest information, confirmed directly by Sony, PS5 will not support 1440p resolution. PC gamers pay a lot of attention to this subject and they demand performance after they spend a fortune on hardware.

This news comes almost to dampen the enthusiasm generated by the latest information on the console, including the most recent one related to full support (with integrated cable) to HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz.

In short, not exactly good news for an important slice of the audience. We will see who wins this year’s console race: Xbox or PS5?
