Google has released an update to its Gemini chatbot, allowing it to generate interactive simulations and models for users.
This update aims to enhance understanding of complex topics, as many users prefer visual explanations. The interactive capabilities exceed previous text and static diagram functionalities, providing a more comprehensive learning tool.
Users can now enter prompts asking Gemini to “show me” or “help me visualize” concepts. An example includes generating an animated simulation of a double slit experiment, featuring adjustable variables for greater engagement.
The update is rolling out for all users starting today. To access the new feature, users must visit gemini.google.com and select the Pro model.
Google stated that the introduction of interactive simulations aligns with user feedback on the importance of visual aids in understanding complex subjects. The company emphasized the value of this new feature for educational purposes.
