Snap announced it will host its own creator awards show, called the Snappy Awards Show, at the company’s headquarters on March 31. The event will be hosted by comedian and content creator Matt Friend.

The awards show follows Snap’s recent efforts to provide more tools for influencers, including the launch of individual creator subscriptions. The Snappy Awards will honor creators in several categories: Spotlight MVP, Best Storyteller, Breakout Creator of the Year, as well as awards for collaboration, cultural impact, and success in a single subject.

Snapchat is not the first social media platform to hold an awards event for its creators. TikTok hosted its inaugural US awards show last year.
