Follow the instructions below to remove your account on Android or sign out via a web browser on your desktop.
Method 1: Removing your account on Android
- Open the Settings app on your Android device by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear icon.
- Scroll down and tap Accounts (this may also be labeled as “Cloud & accounts,” “Users and accounts,” or “Accounts & sync” depending on your device).
- Tap the Google option to view your active Google accounts.
- Select the specific account you wish to sign out of.
- Tap the ⋮ (three vertical dots) menu icon located in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Remove account from the drop-down menu.
- Confirm the action by tapping Remove account in the pop-up window to complete the process.
Method 2: Signing in with a different account on Android
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
