Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 in San Francisco. The company is anticipated to introduce its Galaxy S26 series of smartphones at this event.
Artificial intelligence features are central to the new phones. Samsung stated the upcoming phones are “built to simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand.”
A new privacy display feature is expected to debut on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This feature allows users to conceal screen areas from onlookers to safeguard sensitive information, such as the notification area.
The top model in the S26 lineup will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 processor in the U.S. and China. Other regions will likely receive models featuring Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor. Snapdragon processors have historically shown better benchmark performance and thermal efficiency than Exynos chips, but this performance difference has been decreasing.
According to SamMobile, the S26 will feature a 5,100 mAh battery. It will support 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging.
Samsung is also expected to release updated Galaxy Buds 4 wireless earbuds. The design of the new earbuds will be updated from the previous generation.
The event commences at 10 AM PT, 1 PM ET, and 7 PM CET. It will be live-streamed on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.
Consumers who pre-register interest in the upcoming devices will receive a $30 promotional credit. This credit can be used as a discount toward other Samsung products. If a pre-registered consumer also pre-orders one of the new devices, a $150 credit will be provided, with no trade-in required.
