Tom Henderson, a reliable Call of Duty insider, has claimed that the game will feature Las Almas, the map from the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, as its fully-fledged battle royale map.
Henderson expects the Las Almas map to launch during Season 1, which is set to begin at the start of December. It is currently unclear whether MW3 will be sticking with the Warzone 2 template or starting fresh as Warzone 3, but reports suggest that the popular mode will take place on the Las Almas map regardless.
According to reports, a significant portion of the story for the upcoming CoD MW3 2023 will be set in the fictional Mexican city of Las Almas. This is supported by the fact that several multiplayer maps in Modern Warfare 2 were also located in and around this location.
