Capcom has announced a Resident Evil Showcase scheduled for January 15 at 5 p.m. ET. The 12-minute stream will air on Twitch and YouTube in English and Japanese.

The event focuses on Resident Evil Requiem, the first mainline entry in the series since Resident Evil Village in 2021. It will present all the latest information on Requiem, which launches February 27 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. Gameplay footage is expected during the showcase.

The official announcement on the Resident Evil website notes that some games featured in the show are not suitable for children. This indicates coverage of other Resident Evil titles beyond Requiem.

Capcom plans to release ports of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village for Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27, coinciding with Requiem’s launch. The showcase might include details on these ports or additional ones.

There is also potential for updates on the next Resident Evil movie, a series reboot directed by Zack Cregger—known for Barbarian and Weapons—that arrives in theaters in September.
