Web Battles’ fourth day is now in progress, and players must inflict critical damage in Fortnite on their foes to get free in-game goodies.

In recognition of the impending Spider-Verse collaboration in Fortnite, a new event called Fortnite Web Battles has been added. Miles Morales, Spider–Gwen, and other characters have been added to the game gradually by Epic Games. On May 23, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse’s famous figure is expected to join Fortnite.

The Web Battles tournament is still open for fans to sign up for. A different challenge with a different point value is given to players every day. By the conclusion of Web Battles, those who have accrued 40 points will get five Spider-Verse-themed gifts.

Dealing critical damage in Fortnite to opponents is a requirement of today’s challenge. Therefore, what must supporters do specifically?

What is critical damage in Fortnite?

Doing critical damage in Fortnite is essential for increasing your kill count. Aiming at the skull is often a game-changer since certain weapons do double damage when they connect with a headshot.

The most often used weapons in this game, along with their headshot (critical damage) multipliers, are as follows:

  • Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle 1.5x
  • Havoc Pump Shotgun 2x
  • Combat Shotgun 1.75x
  • Overclocked Pulse Rifle1.5x
  • Heavy Sniper Rifle 2.5x
  • DMR Combra 1.65x

To determine how much critical damage a weapon can do, multiply the weapon’s base damage by its CRIT DMG multiplier. The CRIT DMG of the Rare (Blue) Havoc Pump Shotgun is 240 whereas the standard DMG is 120.

The fact that melee weapons lack a critical damage rating must be mentioned. Despite being one of the most well-liked equipment in Chapter 4 Season 2, Kinetic Blade is unable to deliver critical damage. Pickaxes, lightsabers, and several more comparable weapons fall within this category.

Additionally, certain ranged weapons, such as the Rocket Launcher, don’t do critical damage. The majority of the items in this category do, despite the damage drop-off having an impact on their CRIT DMG.

Playing Team Rumble or joining a bot lobby in Fortnite are the two simplest ways to deliver critical damage. Many casual players with generally low skill levels participate in the former, and they utilize this game mode to hone their skills.

On the other side, AI-controlled players in Fortnite bot lobbies are really simple to take out. It is simple to land headshots on these enemies since they have poor aim and lack the ability to dodge gunfire.

How to deal with critical damage in Fortnite?

In practice, the objective is pretty straightforward, even though the phrase “deal critical damage in Fortnite” may sound like it might be interpreted in several different ways: players must hit headshots on other players. Players will gain one point for every 100 damage dealt to their health via headshots.

Players have just two more opportunities, including today’s, to complete tasks in Web Battles to gain points. As the cutoff time draws near, you must do as much critical damage as you possibly can to accumulate a total of 40 points.

The participants will need to make it through the storm rings to complete the final mission tomorrow. It is far easier and more enjoyable to push teams nowadays and rack up headshot damage than it is to just strive to make an endgame in every battle, especially in lobbies that are packed with other players.
