Let’s take a closer look at the brand new Fortnite Rarity Check Augment, which lets you gain the Siphon effect upon elimination with Common or Uncommon weapons.

In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, a brand-new feature called Reality Augments gives players sporadic benefits that can help them win a challenging battle royale fight.

In Fortnite, there are many ways to improve your chances of success, like loading up on the greatest weaponry, getting the best spots, or just hiding until the very end of a round.

Reality Augments, however, are a brand-new method for improving your odds of winning. These brand-new perks, which were first introduced in Chapter 4 Season 1, give you an advantage over your rivals and our favorite amongst them was Fortnite Rarity Check Augment.

What is Fortnite Rarity Check Augment?

On January 18, the v23.20 release brought five new Reality Augments and one of them is Fortnite Rarity Check Augment. With those Reality Augments, you will get certain buffs to your character. The new Augments added to Fornite are as follows:

  1. Danger Hero, which explains briefly regenerate Health and gain movement speed when your Shield breaks
  2. Rarity Check, which explains get Siphon upon eliminations with Common and Uncommon weapons
  3. Shotgun Striker, which explains your Shotgun fire will give you Siphon upon hitting opponents.
  4. Peely’s Plunder, which explains receive a treasure map that will lead you to buried treasure.
  5. Zero Chance, which explains Temporarily gain the Zero Point dash ability each time you break an enemy’s Shield

And now for our favorite Fortnite Rarity Check Augment, which lets you gain Siphon upon elimination with lower rarity weapons. Siphon is an effect that lets you regenerate a little bit of health over time.

How to activate Fortnite Rarity Check Augment?

The minimap will show a symbol when you may select a Reality Augment. The button you must press in order to use Reality Augments in the game should likewise be indicated by this symbol.

The D-Right pad’s button must be pressed on the PS4 and PS5 to activate the Fortnite Rarity Check Augment. Depending on the console you’re using, this button might seem different, but it should be something similar.

Fortnite Rarity Check Augment is not the only Reality Augment in the game

There are many Augments in Fortnite and they all have different effects. Here are the Reality Augments Fortnite has to offer other than our favorite Fortnite Rarity Check Augment:

AerialistGain the ability to deploy your glider.
BloodhoundEnemies hit by your Marksman Rifle or Bow shots.
Bow SpecialistBows draw and reload faster, and you regenerate arrows over time.
Bush WarriorYou regenerate health and partial shields while inside large foliage.
Chug GunnerReceive a Chug Cannon.
Danger HeroBriefly regenerate Health and gain movement speed when your Shield breaks.
Demolitions MunitionsObjects you destroy have a chance to drop explosives. Excludes player-built structures.
First AssaultThe first bullet in the magazine of your Assault Rifle deals bonus damage.
ForecastYou can always see the next storm circle.
Jelly AnglerReceive a Fishing Rod. You can use it to fish anywhere, but you can only fish up Jellyfish.
Light FingersWeapons using light ammo reload faster.
Mechanical ArcherReceive an Explosive Bow and Shockwave Bow.
More ParkourYour energy regenerates briefly after mantling or hurdling.
Party TimeGain Balloons over time.
Peely’s PlunderReceive a treasure map that will lead you to buried treasure.
Pistol AmpPistols have greatly increased magazine size.
Rarity CheckGet Siphon upon elimination with Common and Uncommon weapons.
Rifle RecycleWeapons using medium ammo have a chance not to consume ammo.
Rushing ReloadSprinting will slowly reload your equipped Shotgun.
Shotgun StrikerYour Shotgun fire will give you Siphon upon hitting opponents.
Soaring SprintsJump much higher and with lower gravity while Sprinting.
Splash MedicYou have a chance to find Chug Splash in every container you open.
Storm MarkWhen the storm changes, ping the area to highlight nearby enemies for a short duration.
SuperchargedVehicles you’re inside do not consume fuel and have increased health.
Tactical ArmoryGrants a rare Tactical AR and Combat Shotgun.
Tricked OutEntering a Car or Truck applies Chonkers and a Cow Catcher to it.
Zero ChanceTemporarily gain the Zero Point dash ability each time you break an enemy’s Shield.
