Gamers rejoice because Deku smash back in Fortnite! Deku smash, which was removed from the game in Fortnite, which we have known for its collaborations with many giant productions, is back in the game.

Fortnite excels in collaborating with companies to develop outstanding in-game events based on their franchises. With the crossovers between Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia in 2022, Epic Games really showed off its might. The latter, however, did not work as planned, leading to the Deku Smash ability being taken out of the game until this point.

Fortnite players will be feasting on Deku smash back in Fortnite news along with new Fortnite Augments.

It was removed but Deku smash back in Fortnite

According to Epic Games, a bug led to the removal of the Deku Smash function. As the item never returned before the crossover ended, this infuriated many game fans. But it appears that Epic has activated it again to allow gamers the opportunity to utilize the weapon they missed out on when the business was preoccupied with winter break.

But it appears that Epic has activated it again to allow gamers the opportunity to utilize the weapon they missed out on when the business was preoccupied with winter break.

Although it was never proven, there were speculations that the Mythic item’s vaulting was caused by the flashing lights that appear as it charges. Due to the weapon’s overwhelming force when used in close proximity to the target, many individuals found it unsettling. To find out if that has changed, players will need to try it and evaluate it against videos of the weapon from last month.

Deku’s Smash may be in the game for a few weeks at most, while its exact duration is currently unknown. To make up for the lost time, Epic might, at most, give it another week before removing it as part of the upcoming hotfix release on January 24. This time around, hopefully, Epic will make a formal announcement in-game about how long the Mythic weapon will last as Deku smash back in Fortnite.

But some players, like Twitter user @zay_jb, aren’t too happy about it.

What is Deku smash Fortnite?

Players can utilize Deku’s Smash, a Mythic item in Fortnite, during a game. When activated, the player will briefly float in the air as their fist charges up with a rainbow-colored light. After a brief delay, the player then unleashes a huge vortex that damages nearby players and structures. Even the voice of Deku’s Japanese voice actor, Daiki Yamashita, can be heard in the attack.

However, if you were playing Fortnite at the time of the MHA collaboration, you could have noticed that Deku’s Smash was temporarily turned off. It was taken away on December 20 during the crossover event and it wasn’t even there when the event ended.

Izuku Midoriya, often known as Deku, is a superhero and the main character of the Khei Horikoshi-written comic series My Hero Academia. Despite not having a “quirk” of his own when he was first born, Izuku grew up wanting to be a superhero all on his own. Izuku, who was given the nickname “Deku” by his middle school bully and former classmate Katsuki Bakugo, subsequently saved him from a villain and won the attention of All Might, who eventually gave him the gift of his sacred One For All quirk. Izuku’s classmate Ochaco Uraraka encourages him to adopt his nickname and use it as his hero name after getting admitted into U.A. High School.
