How to get Instagram Notes in 5-easy steps?

Make sure you have Instagram’s most recent download on your smartphone since the new functionality has begun to roll out with the most recent update.

The instructions are as follows once you have logged into your account:

  1. Open Instagram on your phone or tablet. Both Apple and Android users have access to the Instagram Notes feature.
  2. Access the Direct Messages section by clicking in the top right corner
  3. Between the search bar and direct messaging is where you’ll find the Notes section
  4. To start a new Note, tap “Leave a note.” Fill out the “Share what’s on your mind” form with your message
  5. You can send it to individuals on your list of “Close Friends” or to followers who have followed you back

The new note always replaces the previous one, even though there is no cap on the number of Notes you can send in a single day. This indicates that there will only ever be one active note at once.

What is Instagram Notes feature?

The addition of Instagram Notes is probably the most exciting of the recently disclosed features because it provides a method for texting others in public. Despite the clear resemblance to a website like Twitter, the present implementation delivers a highly unique user experience. On Instagram, users can leave notes for other users by choosing the followers they follow back or other users from their current “Close Friends” list at the top of their inbox.

Following that, the note will be typed using only 60 text or emoji characters. The letter will be at the top of friends’ inboxes for 24 hours, and any responses will be sent as direct messages (DMs).

Can you turn off Instagram Notes feature?

As of this writing, there is no way to disable Notes on Instagram; however you can choose to mute specific followers if you don’t want to receive their Notes.

The steps to mute someone’s Notes are as follows:

  1. Go to the messaging tab on your Instagram profile to access Notes
  2. To mute a note, long press on it
  3. Three choices are presented to you: Report, Mute Notes, and View Profile. Choose the second option.
  4. When the app requests confirmation, choose Mutes notes once more
