In the popular tactical role-playing game, there are a ton of Tactics Ogre Reborn recruitable characters to choose from, and some of them have quite demanding criteria.
There are numerous characters in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. Protagonists, antagonists, antagonists who turn into protagonists, and protagonists who turn into antagonists. It is possible to assemble a sizable army, just like in many other strategy RPGs.

All Tactics Ogre Reborn recruitable characters and how to recruit them
While some of these characters will instantly join you, most have prerequisites you must first meet. These can be as simple as keeping them alive throughout combat to more intricate, perhaps frustrating techniques.
Here is how to acquire them all.
|Canopus||Vartan||The battle at Tynemouth Hill will automatically include Canopus when it begins.|
|Donnalto||Cleric||Keep Donnalto alive to recruit him at the end of the In Krysaro battle.|
|Felicia||Cleric||If Donnalto perishes in the conflict at Krysaro, Felicia will take his place.|
|Sara||Archer||At the end of the Krysaro battle, Sara emerges in your army.|
|Voltare||Knight||At the end of the Krysaro battle, Voltare emerges in your army.|
Chapter 2 – Lawful Route
In this route, there is only one recruitable character called Xapan. His class is Berseker, and to recruit him, you should protect Xapan in the battle at Qadriga Fortress.
Chapter 2 – Chaotic Route
|Arycelle||Archer||If Arycelle makes it through the combat at Xeod Moors, she will join as a guest. After the battle in Tynemouth Hill, if you can keep her alive through the subsequent engagements, she’ll join as a regular party member.|
|Cistina||Valkyrie||If Folcurt and Bayin have joined you as guests and have both survived every battle up until this point, you can ask Cistina to join you when you get to Boed Fortress. She must have made it through the conflict in Chapter 1.|
|Folcurt||Knight||If you aid Folcurt in Krysaro, he’ll come to stay with you. Make sure Bayin joins you and lives until you encounter Cistina, and keep him alive until Boed Fortress. Folcurt will come along once you ask Cistina to go with you.|
|Bayin||Wizard||During the battle at Qadriga Fortress, keep Bayin alive and grant his request to have him as a guest. When you get to Boed Fortress and beg Cistina to join you, as long as he and Folcurt are with you, he will also do so.|
Chapter 3 – Lawful Route
|Jeunan||Dragoon||There will be a decision to be made in the cutscene that follows the battles in Brigantys. To get Jeunan, respond with the second option.|
|Ravness||Valkyrie||Save her in the Bahanna Highlands battle.|
|Vyce||Ranger||Upon taking back Almorica Castle, Vyce will join your group.|
|Arycelle||Archer||If you didn’t kill her or let her die in any combat in Chapter 2, except from the one in Port Asyton, Arycelle will join your group after you retake Almorica Castle.|
|Mirdyn||White Knight||After you take back Almorica Castle, Mirdyin will join your group.|
|Gildas||White Knight||After you take back Almorica Castle, Gildas will join your group.|
|Hobyrim||Swordmaster||If Hobyrim defeats Ozma in the Arkhaiopolis of Rhime, he will join your group.|
Chapter 3 – Neutral Route
|Mirdyn||White Knight||At Almorica Castle, Mirdyn will join you.|
|Phaesta – Chamos – Tamuz||Valkyrie – Wizard – Knight||Go to Krysaro before traveling to Port Asyton after the battle at Tynemouth Hill against Ganpp. At Qadriga Fortress, this will trigger an optional battle. To simultaneously recruit Phaesta, Chamos, and Tamuz, make sure they all make it through the battle at Qadriga Fortress.|
|Hobyrim||Swordmaster||After the battle at Qadriga Fortress, you can recruit Hobyrim by selecting the first dialogue choice for him each time.|
|Oelias – Dievold||To recruit them, save Oelias and Dievold from the battle in Port Asyton.|
Chapter 3 – Chaotic Route
|Hobyrim||Swordmaster||Save Hobyrim during the battle at the Bahanna Highlands so you can use him as a recruit later.|
|Mirdyn||White Knight||Mirdyn will meet you at Almorica Castle when you get there.|
|Gildas||White Knight||Gildas will meet you at Almorica Castle when you get there.|
|Cerya||Valkyrie||Cerya will automatically join you following the Boed Fortress battle.|
|Olivya||Cleric||After the battles at Brigantys Castle, Olivya will join.|
|Sherri||Witch||Reduce Sherri’s health to a critical level during the combat at Hagia Banhamuba without killing her. She’ll make her getaway with a Shiftstone.
Enter Balmamusa in the pouring rain following the following cutscenes in Coritanae to hire Sherri.
|Cerya||Valkyrie||(Only the neutral route) Go to Krysaro after the happenings at Hagia Banhamuba. The Pirates of Qadriga Fortress talk topic is now open as a result. Visit the new battle in Qadriga; Ehlrigh will question you before the battle begins. When you respond “Will you aid us?” the battle will end right away, allowing you to recruit Cerya and Ehlrig.|
|Ehlrig||Cleric||(Only the neutral route) Go to Krysaro after the happenings at Hagia Banhamuba. The Pirates of Qadriga Fortress talk topic is now open as a result. Visit the new battle in Qadriga; Ehlrigh will question you before the battle begins. When you respond “Will you aid us?” the battle will end right away, allowing you to recruit Cerya and Ehlrig.|
|Xapan||Berserker||If you haven’t already recruited him, you can do so in Golyat by taking him down to critical health during a battle.|
|Lindl||Fusilier||Read the Talk topic Rhamsen Wreck Raised after the events in Barnicia and Phidoch, then travel to Grimsby. Make sure Lindl is alive during this battle so he can join you when you succeed.|
|Ocionne||Beast Tamer||Read the Talk subject Mysterious Blast at Exeter following the occurrences in Barnicia and Phidoch. Deal with all the fights on your route to Vasque before continuing on to Lhazan Fortress in the north. You should use Jeunan in this battle and watch every conversation between Ocionne, Jeunan, and Denam; you’ll know you’ve watched them all when Denam says that Jeunan’s remorse is genuine. Finish the fight then, but not before, and ensure Ocionne’s survival.|
|Ganpp||Beast Tamer||Read the Talk subject The Bandits of Neimrahava to access Neimrahava Wood after the Grimsy conflict. Reduce Ganpp’s HP in that battle to zero while sparing both of his griffons. He will go with his Gryphon pets, Obda and Berda.|
|Obda and Berda||Gryphon||Along with Ganpp, whose recruitment was just described above, Obda and Berda will also join.|
|Rudlum||Warlock||To find the entrance to the Palace of the Dead, read the Talk topic Mysterious Blast at Exeter. Make sure Rudlum survives the fight on the second floor of the Palace of the Dead after fighting your way there and beginning your descent there to hire him.|
|Iuria||Songstress||Read about Iuria in the Talk topic of CODA episode one before traveling to Port Omish. By moving your units to the entrance, you can escape the subsequent battle. After reading the new Iuria Talk topic, close the Warren Report and reopen it to see the newest Talk topic. To hire Iuria, head to the Pirate’s Graveyard and battle all the way to the end.|
|Warren||Astromancer||In CODA episode 2, get to Floor 115 of the Palace of the Dead and make sure Warren makes it through the conflict with Rodrick and your doppelgangers.
You can only access CODA if Catiua and Mirdyn are canonically alive and recruited; as a result, Catiua must survive the events of Chapter 4 in Barnicia for you to access CODA from a Neutral playthrough.
|Lanselot||Holy Knight||Make sure Lanselot survives the second battle at the Arkhaiopolis of Rhime in CODA episode three so you can recruit him.|
