Lots of players are confused about how they got the new care package charm ”UI charm 136 MW2” in Activision’s latest game Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and we are here to tell you why and how you can get them for players who didn’t receive one!
If you have already played Warzone, you should be able to locate some free unlocks for Modern Warfare 2, which just became available this morning and will be available for Warzone 2 tomorrow. Let’s take a closer look at these unlocks together.
What is UI charm 136 MW2?
Reddit users, who noticed this charm on their inventory, shared the image of the charm in the relevant subreddit of the game and could not understand the expression “ui_charm_136” that appeared on their in-game inventory. Although some of the players think that this item’s name is an easter egg, it is more likely to be a bug since the game has been released recently.
Yet there are speculations about where this charm is coming from there’s no direct explanation from Infinity Ward’s side. All the Redditors share that they’ve got the charm after they randomly log in to the game this morning.
How to get MW2 care package charm?
In order to get care package charms you must be logged into Warzone and have played it at least once in order for loot to appear on your account. However, we do not yet have an official statement from Infinity Ward about this.
Apart from the charms, you will also earn:
- Double XP boost token
- Double battle pass XP boost token
- Double weapon XP boost token
- Two unique blueprints for Combat Knife called; ”Dam Blade” and ”Hound’s Tooth”
How to get and equip charms in MW2?
In Modern Warfare 2, different weapon charms can be acquired by completing in-game missions or taking advantage of promotional opportunities. After completing various in-game challenges you will be rewarded with weapon charms. These challenges are mostly gun-specific challenges right now, but we expect to see lots of different charms and challenges in future updates.
Once you’ve decided on the weapon you want to crown with a charm, head over to the gunsmith and select the charm you want to equip on your weapon.
