The newest announced Agent in the game is Valorant Fade, which is a hunter who has come into contact with some frightening shadows. It appears that her skills allow her to reveal her foes’ positions. She was unveiled during the finale of Valorant’s Reykjavik Masters tournament on Sunday.
Fade is a champion that specializes in weakening and destroying her foes. The developers of the game define her as “Fade is the last person you want to find in the dark. But you’ll want to see where this trail leads.” Her abilities are designed to locate and blind opposing players, as well as keep them in place once she has done so. One of her skills deploys a ball of shadows to near-sight hostile players, while another generates a tiny circle on the ground that keeps individuals tethered if they get too close. She also has a recon skill that will detect opponents and draw lines connecting their position, while her Ultimate does something similar over an extensive area of the map.

E — HAUNT
Equip a nightmarish entity. Fire to throw the orb which will plummet to the ground after a set amount of time. Upon hitting the ground the orb will turn into a nightmarish entity that will reveal the location of enemies caught in its line of sight. Enemies can destroy this entity. Re-use the ability to drop the projectile early in flight.
Q — SEIZE
Equip an orb of nightmare ink. Fire to throw the orb which will plummet to the ground after a set amount of time. Upon hitting the ground, the ink will explode and create a zone in which enemies who are caught in it cannot escape the zone by normal means. Re-use the ability to drop the projectile early in-flight.
C — PROWLER
Equip a Prowler. Fire will send the Prowler out, causing it to travel in a straight line. The Prowler will lock onto any enemies or trails in their frontal vision cone and chase them, near-sighting them if it reaches them. Hold the fire button to steer the Prowler in the direction of your crosshair.
X — NIGHTFALL
Equip the power of Fear. Fire to send out a wave of nightmare energy that can traverse through walls. The energy creates a trail to the opponent as well as deafens and decays them.

According to Riot, she’s best in mid to close-range engagements and has no out-of-body skills. Valorant Fade is set to come to the game as part of Episode 4 Act 3, meaning she will be available on April 27, 2022.
