Today Spotify launches its end of the year classic, Spotify Wrapped. Spotify Wrapped provides a look back at users’ listening habits and highlights their favorite genres of music and podcasts.
Spotify’s Wrapped 2021 is here
Spotify’s Wrapped 2021 has been through some major changes this year. It’s filled with exciting new features, such as the ability to compare Wrapped with a friend, video messages from artists to fans, and a new Wrapped game, plus support for TikTok sharing.
Spotify is also bringing live audio chats, called “Spotify Greenroom,” to the Wrapped experience this year including live shows from special artists. This time Spotify created something special, “2021: The Movie” pairs your songs with key moments and scenes from a movie.
Also, this year, Wrapped comes with some references to various popular TikTok memes, like “Bones Day” or “Good Soup.” This year Spotify gave users the ability to share their Wrapped cards directly into TikTok.
Some of the most successful podcasters and artists will be welcoming some of their most passionate fans into the Greenroom. They will talk about their own Wrapped results among other things.
Thanks to a new feature called Wrapped Blend, users will be able to “compare your music taste in 2021 with a friend and get a blended playlist.”
