We tell you how to disable device location on iPhone, so you can prevent other people from knowing your current location with these simple steps.
Being able to provide your iPhone with information about your current location can be useful on certain occasions, but also a bit inconvenient in that your device can know where you are at all times and the places you have visited in the past.
In addition to that, another thing that happens is that many of today’s applications have access to the location of their users, something that can also be uncomfortable and even dangerous.
If you are currently an iPhone user and you don’t like the idea of your cell phone knowing every place you visit or the places you are currently in, there is a way to prevent that from happening.
How to disable device location on iPhone?
The iPhone has several location functions and one of them is the Find My iPhone tool, and although this is enabled by default, it is also possible to disable it in case you do not use the function.
To modify these aspects of the iPhone you must enter the Settings section and among the options, you will see an option called Privacy, with the logo of a hand inside a blue box.
When you enter Privacy the first thing you will see is a tab that says “Location Services”, with an “On” for “On” next to it. If you click on that a list of your apps will appear and at the bottom, you’ll see a wheel icon and a “System Services” section.
In the windows, you will see a list of functions and tools that have access to your location. By default, all of them will appear activated, and in this case, you will have to choose the ones you want to deny this information.
