OPPO has just announced a new low-end smartphone called A54, a successor to last year’s A53 series; and today we are going to talk about its specs, price, and release date.
This is a simple device with Helio P35, a 6.51-inch LCD screen, and a 13MP main camera. Though, one of its striking aspects is the 5,000mAh battery with 18W quick charging support.

OPPO A54 is a renewal of the standard 4G version OPPO A53 from August last year. The appearance of the device is similar on the front, featuring a 6.51-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
Of course, there are some changes in terms of design too. The fingerprint reader is located on the side, in addition to completely changing the design of the camera module on the back. Nevertheless, we have the same configuration: a triple camera with a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a third 2MP sensor for portrait mode. The front camera has a 16MP sensor.
It has a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 4GB RAM, and a good amount of available storage, 128GB, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The smartphone comes with an IPX4 certification against water splashes.
Being a simple device, the OPPO A54 stands out for its battery with a 5000mAh capacity that has 18W quick charging support. For some reason, the smartphone is launched with Android 10 preinstalled with ColorOS 7.2, despite the fact that Android 11 has been with us for six months now.
