You can now synchronize your iCloud keychain passwords with Google Chrome. Here comes good news for those who uses both Apple devices and a Windows computer.
Now, in the latest available version of iCloud for Windows, it is possible to synchronize iCloud keychain passwords with Google Chrome securely. The new feature comes in version 12.0 of iCloud for Windows, to which we can update our synchronization suite.
Once in this version we will see that, in its settings, there is a new section called Passwords that can be activated. After activating it and pressing Apply, we will see the download web page of the corresponding Chrome extension.
This extension, iCloud Passwords, allows us to use in Chrome on Windows the passwords created on our Apple devices. The extension is also able to save in the iCloud keychain the new passwords that we can create in Chrome, so these will be available on our Apple devices.
The truth is that being able to synchronize our passwords in such a comfortable and, above all, secure way between two platforms is something important. Along with bookmark synchronization, which iCloud for Windows offers, it makes it much easier to be able to be on two different platforms and sync without restarting.
