Xiaomi confirms that they have sold 50% more mobiles than last year. The year 2020 will not be remembered with joy by many, but that will certainly not be the case for Xiaomi. The Chinese company has experienced an absolute record of sales of their smartphones, reaching 46.6 million phones sold in the third quarter of 2020. This translates into a spectacular growth of 45.3% compared to the same period in 2019.

Speaking of numbers, the total number of phones sold between July 1 and September 30, 2020, has earned Xiaomi 7,2 billion dollars. With all these figures Xiaomi is already the third biggest smartphone brand in the world with a 13.5% market share.

Xiaomi has also published its global financial report for the third quarter of this year in which they have earned $10.9 billion. This represents a 34.5% boom compared to the same three months in 2019. Speaking of net profit, this was $621 million.

We have already told you in this article that the best-selling smartphones are the mid-range and low-end ranges. Like it or not, Xiaomi has always been considered as a firm of affordable products (although in recent times it has launched more expensive smartphones on the market), putting technology within reach of all pockets. In this sense, the average price of Xiaomi’s smartphones has been $155.

Xiaomi confirms that they have sold 50% more mobiles than last year.Finally, as far as the market outside of Asia is concerned, all the news that comes in does nothing but reaffirm the great moment that Xiaomi enjoys. Income in the rest of the world in the third quarter of 2020 amounted to 6,03 billion dollars, 52.1% more than the previous year.
