Huawei may hold a large product launch event in early August to unveil new phones and wearables, according to Weibo tipster @FixedFocus, as cited by Huawei Central.
The event could take place next week, though Huawei has not officially confirmed the timing or product lineup.
@FixedFocus said the expected devices include the Nova 16 SE smartphone, Watch GT 7 series, an ultra-light PC and gaming earbuds.
Huawei has recently received certifications for new tablets, PCs and smartwatches, with several devices appearing in NearLink and 3C databases.
The Nova 16 SE is expected to join the Nova 16 family as a lower-cost model with changes from recently launched versions.
The Watch GT 7 series could include upgraded health and fitness functions, improved artificial intelligence features and changes to its design and internal hardware.
Huawei is also reportedly developing a 700-gram MateBook. The notebook has appeared in a 3C listing and could be lighter than Apple’s MacBook Air if launched at that weight.
The company may also introduce a gaming headset, though it remains unclear whether the product will be a new model or a variant of an existing device.
