Samsung has confirmed the release of the fourth One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series, expected next week. The announcement came from a Samsung community manager after last month’s deployment of a major bug-fix update for the third beta.
The forthcoming software will be based on Android 17 and will roll out over the air through the Samsung Members app in eligible regions. According to the community manager, the beta operations team aims to deliver a stable version with enhanced overall system stability and no major bugs.
Although a specific release date or detailed changelog was not provided, the fourth beta is anticipated to improve system performance and refine the user interface. The initial release will likely commence in South Korea, followed by gradually expanding to other regions, including India, Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US. Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra users participating in the beta program should monitor the Samsung Members app next week for the Android 17-based update.
