Samsung has added the Galaxy Book 6 Edge to its Galaxy Book 6 lineup, featuring a Snapdragon X2 Elite processor and priced at $2,100. The new model offers 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

Unlike other models in the Galaxy Book 6 series, which are Intel-powered, the Galaxy Book 6 Edge runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite, which Samsung claims can deliver up to 80 TOPS of AI performance. The laptop has been available in the US since March.

The device features a 16-inch, 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch display that is anti-reflective, aiding visibility outdoors. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and is constructed with Corning Gorilla Glass with DX.

The Galaxy Book 6 Edge includes quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos. Users can integrate the laptop with other Galaxy devices for wireless file and photo transfers. It operates on Windows 11 with Copilot+ features.

Connectivity options comprise a single HDMI 2.1 port, one microSD slot, one USB 3.2 port, and two USB 4.0 slots. Additional features include a combo headphone/microphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7 support.

Battery life is rated for up to 22 hours of video playback on a single charge. The laptop can recharge to 40% of its capacity in 30 minutes using the included 65W adaptor. The Galaxy Book 6 Edge weighs 3.42 pounds and has a thickness of just under half an inch. It is available in a single configuration with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1TB of storage.
