Bose announced its new Lifestyle Collection on May 5, featuring the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker priced at $299, the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar at $1,099, and the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer at $899. The products are designed to work individually or together, incorporating proprietary Bose technology to provide high-quality sound. Preorders began immediately, with a scheduled release date of May 15.
The Lifestyle Ultra Speaker includes three drivers—two front-facing and one up-firing—enhancing audio coverage. It incorporates CleanBass technology and a QuietPort acoustic opening for improved bass quality. The speaker supports several configurations including 1.0, 2.0, 7.0.4, and 7.1.4, and allows pairing with other Lifestyle Ultra speakers for surround sound. It can stream music through Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, or Spotify Connect without needing Bluetooth connections. The dimensions are 4.8 inches wide, 7.3 inches high, and 6.6 inches deep, and it weighs 4.5 pounds.
The Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar marks the company’s first significant redesign in over a decade, featuring six full-range drivers, a center tweeter, and two PhaseGuide drivers. It is capable of playing Dolby Atmos content and includes SpeechClarity technology, which offers three adjustable levels for improved dialogue clarity. CustomTune technology optimizes audio output based on room acoustics. The soundbar comes in 5.0.2, 5.1.2, 7.0.4, and 7.1.4 configurations, measuring 43.54 inches wide, 2.64 inches high, and 4.96 inches deep, with a weight of 14.8 pounds.
The Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer is designed for low frequencies, producing clear and cinematic bass without distortion, also utilizing CleanBass technology. Available configurations include 5.1.2 and 7.1.4. It connects via Wi-Fi or a 3.5mm wired connection and has dimensions of 11.63 inches wide, 12.88 inches high, and 11.63 inches deep, weighing 33.7 pounds.
The Lifestyle Collection is offered in a choice of colors including Black, White Smoke, and a limited edition Driftwood Sand for the Ultra Speaker, with a price of $349 for that color variant.
