Lovable launched its mobile app on Monday, available for download on the Play Store and App Store. The app allows users to build web apps and websites using text or voice prompts, albeit with limited functionality compared to the website version.

The mobile app aims to serve users who frequently travel or prefer smartphone usage over laptops. It provides a method for those users to start projects from anywhere, potentially increasing Lovable’s user base following its $330 million Series B funding round.

Users can initiate projects by typing or speaking natural language prompts, and the app supports multiple projects running simultaneously. Users also have the option to close the app after submitting prompts, allowing the AI to continue working in the background.

Upon project completion, the app sends a notification to alert users to check their developed websites or apps. However, on iOS devices, users can only preview these apps in a web browser, as hosting functionality is unavailable.

The app ensures a connected ecosystem with the Lovable website. Cross-platform support allows for seamless switching between the mobile app and website, preventing data loss during transitions.
