Spotify has launched guided workout experiences aimed at enhancing users’ exercise routines, available to both Free and Premium subscribers across multiple devices.

The new features can be accessed via the Fitness hub, the Browse all tab, or by searching for “fitness.” The initiative reflects Spotify’s strategy to expand its offerings beyond music.

Initial workout content providers include Yoga with Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Abi Mills Wellness, and Sophiereidfit. Workouts will be available in both video and audio formats.

The Fitness hub categorizes workouts to help users easily find suitable options, including Cardio: Floor, Cardio: Outdoor, Yoga, and Pilates.

Premium subscribers will gain access to 1,400 on-demand classes from Peloton through a new partnership, which does not require Peloton equipment for participation. Peloton’s offerings include various types of workouts, such as outdoor runs, strength training, yoga, and meditation.

“Spotify kicks things off with content from well-known creators,” the company said, emphasizing its commitment to providing diverse fitness options. Spotify’s new features mark a significant expansion into the fitness space, following the company’s trend of diversifying its content offerings beyond traditional audio services.
