Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Glasses, with recent leaks revealing product specifications and imagery from three angles. The anticipated price range for the first-generation Galaxy Glasses is between $379 and $499.

The initial model of Galaxy Glasses will not feature a screen, whereas the second generation, codenamed Haean, is expected to introduce a screen in 2027, priced between $600 and $900. These glasses will compete with the Meta Ray-Ban glasses and will operate on the Android XR platform, which will include built-in Gemini functionality.

Details regarding Android XR are expected to be disclosed at the upcoming Google I/O event next month. Samsung has partnered with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster for the glasses’ frames, aiming to enhance style and usability.

The Galaxy Glasses will reportedly utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 chipset, providing support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 connections. Other specifications include a 155 mAh battery, a 12MP camera featuring the Sony IMX681 sensor, directional speakers, and an approximate weight of 50 grams.

The official unveiling of the Galaxy Glasses is anticipated during Samsung’s summer Unpacked event, likely scheduled for July. During this event, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, and Galaxy Z Fold Wide.
