Meta is reportedly developing an AI clone of CEO Mark Zuckerberg to assist employees when he is unavailable. The AI character will be trained on Zuckerberg’s mannerisms, tone, and publicly available statements.

The initiative aims to provide advice to Meta employees reflecting Zuckerberg’s thoughts on the company’s strategy. The focus on creating this AI character comes as part of a broader effort at Meta to develop photorealistic, 3D animated AI characters for managing various interactions.

Previously, the company announced that Zuckerberg is working on an AI agent intended to help him perform his job. This agent will reportedly assist in finding answers for him, though specifics about its functionality remain limited as it is still under development.

According to the Financial Times, the transition to the Zuckerberg AI character signifies a strategic pivot towards a more interactive solution for employee inquiries, aiming to maintain productivity in the CEO’s absence.
