Adobe Photoshop rolled out upgrades to its Firefly-powered generative-AI editing tools today for creators. The improvements cover Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and Remove, which now produce 2K-resolution results featuring fewer artifacts, increased detail, and better matches to user prompts.
The Reference Image option in Generative Fill has been enhanced to deliver “geometry-aware results that better match the scene.” Photoshop also launched a beta version of Dynamic Text, enabling simpler transformation of a text layer into a curved shape.
In addition, three new non-destructive adjustment layers—Clarity, Dehaze, and Grain—allow image edits on layers without altering originals.
