Google may integrate Wallet and Tasks into Magic Cue on Pixel 10 devices, potentially enhancing real-time information and task management, as identified by AssembleDebug.

Magic Cue, a feature on the Pixel 10, may expand its data integration capabilities. Google Wallet and Google Tasks could soon join the current list of supported applications for Magic Cue, enabling additional functionalities for users.

Currently, Magic Cue utilizes data from apps including:

  • Pixel Screenshots
  • Gmail
  • Messages
  • Keep Notes
  • Contacts
  • Calendar

Telegram user Kieron Quinn surfaced settings toggles indicating planned support for Google Wallet and Tasks. This suggested integration parallels how Magic Cue currently processes information from existing applications.

The potential addition of Google Wallet would allow Magic Cue to display real-time status updates for tickets saved in Wallet. For example, Google Wallet provides live train statuses in regions such as India for Indian Railways and Canada for Via Rail. While Magic Cue already extracts timing data from Gmail, it does not currently offer real-time updates. Wallet integration could extend this functionality to flights, events, and other digital tickets.

Integration with Google Tasks could enhance event reminders. Although Google Calendar incorporates Google Tasks, direct access for Magic Cue via a dedicated Tasks toggle could streamline task-related information delivery.

Google has not yet announced or rolled out these potential Magic Cue integrations with Google Wallet and Google Tasks. An APK teardown, which revealed these potential features, indicates work-in-progress code. Such features are not guaranteed for public release.
