LG has revived its Wallpaper OLED TV line at CES 2026 with the LG OLED evo W6, six years after the last model and following the original release in 2017. The TV features a 9 mm thick body, achieved through a reengineered internal architecture. A new wall-mount design positions the display completely flush against the wall.
The W6 employs LG’s Zero Connect Box, which transmits signals wirelessly and eliminates the need for a cable between the TV and the box, though a power plug is still required for the TV. The box can be placed up to 10 meters (about 33 feet) away and offers a full set of inputs.
LG integrated Hyper Radiant Color Technology into the W6, enhancing black-level performance, color accuracy, and brightness. The model achieves the lowest reflectance of any LG TV and holds the industry’s first Intertek Reflection-Free Premium certification. It also includes Brightness Booster Ultra technology, which appears on the upcoming LG G6. LG states the G6 delivers a 20% brightness increase over the G5, reaching over 2,400 nits, though the W6’s peak brightness remains undisclosed.
The Gallery+ service comes to the W6 and LG’s broader lineup, providing more than 4,500 images for display during idle periods. The TV supports a 165 Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. It will launch in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes.
