Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the company is “making good progress on a more personalized Siri” powered by Apple Intelligence, with the features expected to launch next year. Cook reaffirmed this timeline during an earnings call today.

The announcement follows Apple’s Q3 2025 earnings report, which revealed a record revenue of $94 billion, surpassing Wall Street estimates. Apple initially unveiled the personalized Siri features at WWDC 2024 but announced a delay in March.

The updated Siri will offer enhanced understanding of user context, on-screen awareness, and more comprehensive per-app controls. An example demonstrated at WWDC showed Siri’s ability to access information from Mail and Messages to answer questions about flight details and lunch reservations. However, Apple is currently facing several class action lawsuits due to the delay in releasing these features.
