Sony Honda Mobility, the joint venture between Sony and Honda focused on electric vehicles, announced that its Afeela EV will include PS Remote Play functionality.

The feature enables drivers to play PlayStation games while parked and passengers to continue gameplay during road trips. The Afeela’s infotainment system streams PS5 and PS4 titles directly to its integrated display. Users can bring a DualSense controller from home to resume sessions seamlessly.

Sony Honda Mobility requires a minimum broadband connection of 5 Mbps for Remote Play, recommending 15 Mbps for smoother performance.

This marks the second demonstration of the capability by the joint venture. It previously showcased Remote Play on the Afeela 1 prototype at CES 2024. The Afeela 1 is scheduled for first customer deliveries in 2026.

Tesla previously provided Steam gaming support on its Model S and Model X vehicles but later removed the feature.
