Perplexity has launched a new feature called Email Assistant. The tool uses an AI chatbot to perform tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing emails, and drafting replies. At launch, the assistant supports Gmail and Outlook.
This feature is available exclusively to subscribers of Perplexity’s Max plan, a subscription tier introduced in July that costs $200 per month. Max subscribers can access the assistant by sending requests to a designated Perplexity email address. According to the company, the AI does not train on user emails, but it does adopt a user’s writing style when drafting replies.
